Short Term Accommodation Seaford

"Helen made us feel really welcome, the experience from booking to arrival was really easy and she communicated well throughout. She kindly provided a bottle of wine and breakfast for the next morning. Most appreciated. Lovely accomodation, all very new and bright and attractive. Everything was provided. We really liked the loaction just opposite the golf course next to a great walk along the cliffs. Really convienent for lots of great days out. We went to Alfriston, Birling Gap, Seven Sisters, Lewes and Brighton."  Lucy, London, May 2015

"The lodge is a very very nice, spacious and peaceful place. The house is newly built and decorated with taste and quality. Helen was very welcoming and gave us very good indications about the neighbourhood, there was even a full folder of all the activities around. The region is very pretty and the house is in well situated, facing the beginning of the "Seven Sisters". As a bonus there was a very good wifi and amazon fire tv and netflix. You can enjoy full privacy as it is completely separated from the main house. Only very good things about the whole place !"  Mathieu, Belgium, May 2015

"Wow, this is amazing! These were my first words when I walked into the Lodge. A bright open modern concept with a huge high end kitchen with beautiful wooden counter tops and slate floors throughout with underfloor heating. Bedrooms a good size and tastefully furnished and more to the point comfortable. Bathrooms another Wow! Had a soak in the large bath every night and a rainbow shower in the morning.

Plenty of seating in the sitting room area. television a little confusing to start with but got the hang of it soon.

Outside area private spacious with weber BBQ and outdoor furniture and a brilliant wall for extra seating. Just a pity I didn't get a chance to use it.

All in all a lot of thought has gone into the Lodge. Great place to stay and I will definitely return when I am in the area. Well Done!

PS I forgot to mention the superfast Wi fi which was very much appreciated."  Erica, May 2015

"Home from Home - with extra nice touches!  From point of booking, to handing the keys back after our long weekend, the owner was helpful without being intrusive. We arrived tired on a Friday and found that provisions - bread, milk, cereal, butter and jam were there to cover us for our first night and morning. A colouring book and pencil for our children was perfect for whilst we unloaded the car and got ourselves settled.

There was a double bedroom with en suite shower and toilet, a family bathrom, a double room with two single beds that had pull outs underneath and a huge kitchen, diner and lounge area. The kitchen was perfectly kitted out - as a middle aged mum - I noted the sage appliances, cleaning kit and the extra bedding.

The practical info was in a bulging purple file. It's amazing to find so much to do locally - we'd assumed we'd be in Brighton all the time, but we went the other way - East, and found so much to do.

The mattresses and bedding were clean and fresh. If you have a little one, take a bed guard perhaps, or ask the owners if they have one. There's plenty of space if you want to put a travel cot in either of the bedrooms. The bathrooms have plenty of towels and the kitchen had all the kit you would have at home.

What I liked, is that it felt homely. It was clean, bright and fresh, with nice furniture, but not so 'posh' that you were worried to sit on anything or use it. It's great for families, groups of friends - I think we could get 8 of us in there using the pull outs and, it's a good space to be in. It's not the Dorchester and doesn't advertise itself as that which I was pleased about - we were happy and more than comfortable in our surroundings!

With good weather, it would be even better as the site is totally secure. So you could sit indoors with one of the many patio doors open and have children run around together. We will definitely be visiting again soon!

"Helen was very pro-active and replied fast to all queries raised by us. She made us feel very welcome by setting us up with breakfast. The appartment is very well maintained, very clean and quite luxurious and really fitted all our needs. The apartment is located in a quiet area close to the seven sisters and an ideal location for day-trips all over Sussex. We would definately recommend this place to others."  Arjan, Holland, Apr 2015
